    Be prepared for lots of holes in the sidewalks , and people begging/soliciting . We always felt slightly uneasy when going for a walk , and the many construction sites have you walking in the street with seemingly inconsiderate drivers . We spent more time in the hotel because walking around wasn't enjoyable .

    Despite that it was really rainy, we managed to go to Unity Park, Entot Park, Technology Museum, visit the Palace Museum and went shopping for traditional clothing at Shiro Meda and the leather market. I definitely recommend the palace museum visit.

    The area we were in was under a lot of construction making...

    The area we were in was under a lot of construction making it difficult to walk anywhere. When we did walk we were targeted by pickpockets. Luckily we were on to them and avoided any losses. Having been to Addis Ababa before I know there are a lot of great things to see in the city, this was a short business trip. You will need to have reliable transportation in order to get around the city. For longer stays, find a reliable driver to hire for the week.

    i liked bole airport. its clean. the town, at least where i visited in CBD is clean. the taxis are fare is ideal. people i met are friendly. The prices of items is too high i couldn't buy anything there. The hotels are also very expensive. Generally things there are expensive. I liked the fact that public schools are free.

    My first time of visiting Addis Ababa.I stayed for 4nights at Metas hotel and spa.All the staff were very good,polite and very helpful.The facilities were good and well-maintained.The moroccan spa was exceptional too.I love everything about the hotel except breakfast.I will definitely recommend Metas and I will always stay at Metas hotel when I visit Addis.Ola

    The hotel was ok but there was massive construction works outside and the road and street looked as if they had been bombed. Dust everywhere outside the hotel. The hotel was clean but could do with a facelift.
