We had an amazing and relaxing stay! The staff was friendly, helpful and we also got treats for our dog from staff. <3 The spa was great with nice views and hiking in Koli was accessible and pleasant. Also, the restaurant served delicious food and nice service. Thank you for the pleasant experience!

Best possible location to really relax. Water from the well tasted good, no need to buy it in a store. Different wild animals roam the forrest and also the premises of the mökki, like quails, (something that looked like) a badger, cuckoos, woodpeckers, and some deer.

Koli National Park was formed by tens of thousands of years...

Koli National Park was formed by tens of thousands of years of erosion during the Ice Age, so the trails and hills are covered with large and small rocks. There are rich landscape changes during the journey. In autumn, the leaves are dyed red, yellow and orange. With a variety of colorful scenes, Koli National Park is a great place to enjoy autumn scenery. Climbing up the hills, you will see a 180-degree view of the lake unfolding in front of you, and you will be shocked by the magnificent scenery - and the trails are also very beautiful. The signs are very clear, so you don’t have to worry about getting lost if you’re walking alone.

There is a good shop and hotel in the middle of the village,...

There is a good shop and hotel in the middle of the village, plus also another hotel on the top of the hill "Koli". Neart he village also "Räsävaara" observation tower allowing good views to the forest landscape and lake. Also the new hotel in the Kolinkylä village is easy to see from observation tower. You need a car to get around.

It's a small but cute little place with excellent hiking...

It's a small but cute little place with excellent hiking options. Few other locations along with Koli are close by in case you wish to see more. Very easy to get to see the Akka-, Ukko- and Paha-Koli and enjoy the view to lake Pielinen. I recommend to drive also to the harbour and see lake Pielinen also from the shore.

The facilities in the hotel is very new and clean, bed is very very comfortable, room is quite for a good sleep ing. Free parking, rich choices for included breakfast. Good location for hiking to Koli national park. Staff are nice and helpful when I asked for cold tap water to take away.

We got a supergood last minute deal. Maybe the best value ever. The property was very spacious and there are beds for six. Tino, the janitor, was very helpfull and gave excellent tips for boating destination. The washing machine was a positive suprise.
