Patricia, her mum and children were wonderful! I loved staying in their home and felt like part of a family. They were very kind, welcoming and friendly. Patricia cooked me a delicious lunch and dinner and breakfast. It was a local cuisine, big portion and very tasty. I would come again!

We loved the personal, informal flavour of Mango Bay, which I think is the beauty of a 2 star resort as opposed to a bigger, luxury one. The staff are really special and we got to know some wonderful other guests. The setting of Mango Bay is truly idyllic, the sunsets incredible and the food delicious. If you're up for it, take advantage of some of the activities they offer. The day trip into Suva was well worth it. Can't wait to go back

Crusoe’s is definitely a hidden gem. The location is beautiful. We loved that there’s a restaurant area overlooking the beach. We have been to another resort on the coral coast since and it’s no where near as good as Crusoe’s. The local village next door is great for a visit as you really get the feel of the local Fijian culture. All the staff are so welcoming and go above & beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The friendliest people we’ve met in Fiji! You really do leave feeling part of the family. We will definitely recommend Crusoe’s to friends and family.

I thought everything was fabulous, the Fijian staff are just the most beautiful people , always friendly and caring , I can’t fault any of them . They work so hard and I really do hope the owners of this establishment are looking after them well, because , as an Australian, I would be very disappointed if they weren’t looking after the people that make this resort a beautiful place to stay. Such a gem! Great service, a lovely little gym, nice pool and lovely snorkeling. Next time - if available - I would choose the room with seaview. Our room was more than fine as well but it would have been a little extra 😊
