This is actually an entire small home, so there is plenty of room. It is clean and neat and warm. It has a fairly large, charming back yard. The owners were also charming and as obliging as possible to welcome us. It was a very comfortable stay. What was even better was, the next morning, seeing the WW1 collection they have personally accumulated over some decades. All sorts of WW1 paraphernalia is there and they really know their history. We spent about an hour there, looking at the collection and discussing WW1. This was one of the best stays we have had so far.

Exeptional staff, friendly and helpful particularly Annaise on reception and the bar who offered to take us to our appointments in her car on her days off. She works above and beyond her duties and is an absolute gem. You should be extremely proud to have her as a staff member, she really made our stay something special.

We are travelling with a dog, the ladies on reception were very welcoming of him and, much to his delight, had biscuits for him! The location is great and the room is very comfortable. The restaurant was offering basic food because it was a Sunday evening but it was still very good.

Karen and Bart were very friendly, helpful, humorous and knowledgeable hosts. Genuine interest in the story of my Great Uncle, missing in action on the first day of the Battle of the Somme 1916. I learnt a lot on my brief visit and remain grateful, a lot more than just a place to stay.

Fantastic location in the country side on a working dairy farm with many relevant WW1 sites close by. Lovely owners who are very willing to help with information, directions, and some history. Lots of amenities including a shared kitchen which is great to keep some costs down and an excuse to buy some delicious French cheeses. Amazing breakfast including delicious freshly made yoghurt cake, croissants, cheeses, bread, toast, homemade spreads, fruit salad, coffee, juice etc. As a solo female traveller, it proved a really great choice. Would return in a heart beat.
