Small village / town, lovely church to visit, the pub, Le Pont de la Pierre, by the river is a must visit as such a lovely setting and well worth the walk. The Restaurant Le Palais nice setting but we got overcharged and will not be frequenting this place on our future visits. The restaurant Le Cheval Blanc offered a set menu and it was fastfood with à la carte prices. Le Central Bar was good for drinks. Gets busy with visitors, ex-pats and local residents. Bellac itself is pretty quiet and a car is a must, lot of interesting beautiful places to visit in the nearby surroundings.Guest review byMariaUnited Kingdom

It is near Bellac center, so everything is accessible on foot. Parking was in front of the property (public space), and there were always plenty of parking spaces available. Breakfast was great and fulfilling, especially the crème brûlée served in a small bowl. You'll also get a big bowl of freshly cut fruits. The host was helpful beforehand, providing directions to find the building (useful as it didn't come up on our GPS) and instructions for entering and off-road parking, then later for operating the TV.
