It was pleasant to stay in a different part of the city. The metro 10 which runs out here is one of the older lines but does connect well with most key sites in the city. Being slightly on the edge of the city has the advantage that it’s quiet. Lovely hotel in a very charming part of Paris away from the tourist areas. Cafe Odette nearby is a delightful place. Our only disappointment is their “non-refundable” policy which meant - although we changed our dates within the stated time deadline, the hotel still charged us the same amount of money even though we stayed one day less. & Booking.com - when we finally managed to find someone to speak with- were sympathetic but apparently unable to do anything to help us. I was there specifically for an event at La Seine Musicale. It's a distance from central Paris, outside the Peripherique and near the end fof the metro. A very pleasant neighbourhood. Nice bars - Home Sweet Home - and restaurants - had a good lunch at La Medina on Ave du General Leclerc. The location is a bit out-of-the-way, but doable if the unit is close to metro, as ours was. I was attending two concerts at the Seine Musicale venue which was a 15 minute walk away. The room was small but adequate for my short solo stay. Nice bathroom/shower. Clean. Plenty of sockets. Breakfast was simple but ok. There were two or three restauarnts virtually next door including one very good Moroccan. Good wifi.
