Beautiful town, folk very friendly considering it is a tourist town. Great for nearby walks, superb river swim spots nearby. Lots of choice for eating drinking chilling. Easily 10 nearby walks from town or using very cheap bus service up valley. Great info available at tourist office, ie detailed walks and maps. Plus mountainbiking up restonica valley. Corte is a good place to do some hiking as the mountains and hills are stunning. We found the people in Corte were not as friendly as other places in Corsica we visited- which does make a differnce! I recommended. There you will feel like real Corsicans. It has everything you needed. The price was very good. There is a free parking lot next to it, but with big holes and it was suitable for a SUV. Our car was low so we parked just outside the town.
