Our host was fantastic. We arrived wet a bedraggled from cycling in the rain. He made sure the bikes were secure and allowed us to eat takeaway pizza in the dining room. A wonderful stay. Thoroughly recommend.

Lovely apartment that had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Everything was provided; tea bags, coffee, sugar, shampoo, soap, washing derergent etc., over and above the usual provisions. One tip: if you want to go into Lyon, don't drive as apparently parking in the park and ride car parks is difficult unless you're there at the crack of dawn. Instead, take the 203 bus (150m from the apartment) to the Gorge de Loup where you'll be dropped off outside the metro station. One stop on the metro and you're in Old Lyon. On the bus ask for an all day all zone pass for under €10 and you can use this on all public transport including the funiculars, which is handy as Lyon is a very steep city. The place is a real jem - if you like to jump out of the busy city life and spend a few days on earth this is one you are looking for! The place itself is in great shape, has a lot of space inside and offers a lot around and easy stay in for a small family. The owner communicated all well in advance and had arranged our arrival very well. We were met and all details given. Inside you have all you need, including the details on the region on the level of 5 stars tourists office - also a region is a hidden jem by itself. Flat - the place is spotless clean and very easy to live in. Perfect beds and kitchen with almost all needed and in perfect working conditions! Great place we would be happy to return! Thank you!
