We stayed here just for one night on our way to Brittany. The room was clean and pretty - ours was on the second floor (which is good because of the old squeaky wooden floors) with a view of the village. Nice French antique style decor, slept with the window open and it was quiet. There is easy parking in front of the hotel.

We loved our stay at Riverside Lodge - it’s perfectly located to explore the beautiful town which is right on the doorstep, and Julia and John were amazing hosts: so friendly and helpful and very kind. We’d absolutely recommend a stay here!

The location of the cottage is excellent, beside Le Serein river only a few minutes walk from the town centre. It’s a quiet spot set back from the road into town. The property has been modernised recently and offers spacious accommodation with modern kitchen & large showeroom. There is free parking at the property, it is an ideal base from which to explore the town. Chablis is a charming small town with many fine historic stone houses. There are restaurants and bars, and the wine merchants cellars where you can sample and buy the famous local produce.

The flat is compact but have everything you need ( not only towels and bed linen, but also toiletries, coffee/tea and condiments). Excellent location, with restaurants and bars very close by. There is no parking, but we were able to find a space on the street just in front of the apartment. The fact that there is no extra charge for pets is also a plus.

Hello, The owners of this house are very communicative and positive people. We were in Chabli during the winter, when the tourist season is less developed. We were welcomed by a well-warmed house. It was clean and tidy. The owner of the house had also provided us with new towels and a hair dryer. The kitchen was equipped with dishes and glasses. There were pans, pots. Designed items are taken care of. Very nice. Everything a family needs is here. Also nearby are the streets of Chablis with boulangeries, wine shops and restaurants. But you can also cook a delicious meal yourself.

Our stay in Chablis was truly memorable – starting with a big smile. When we arrived, we were amused to find ourselves standing in a tiny, charming old alleyway, entering what seemed like a cellar room. For a moment, we genuinely thought that was it – our whole accommodation! But then the adventure began. From that first room, a staircase leads you up to a terrace, then into the main living area, and then up another flight of stairs to the sleeping and bathroom area. It’s a bit of a vertical journey – so you need to be up for climbing a few stairs – but we honestly found the layout super entertaining, quirky, and full of character. The architecture was fun, unique, and made the whole place feel like something out of a storybook. The apartment is very well-equipped, and we really appreciated the sweet touch of pre-set little Speculoos biscuits – such a cute and thoughtful detail! The location is simply perfect for diving into the magic of Chablis. It honestly feels like stepping into another time – like a fairytale village – and the apartment only adds to that special atmosphere. We also felt very safe and at ease throughout our stay.
