We really liked the friendly nature of Guus and Julie. They made us very welcome. The kids were delighted using the pool and loved feeding the alpacas. My 4yr old enjoyed chasing the chickens round the garden too! The room was well equipped and the beds were extremely comfy. We also loved having glass of wine with Guus and Julie in the evening. We came all the way from the states for a cousins wedding in herry. I booked based on location and ratings. It’s exactly what we anticipated. Quiet, calm, relaxed atmosphere. Very kind staff. We sat in the courtyard for an hour to enjoy a bottle of wine of local fare and it was a great way to start the evening. Enjoy a picturesque view of the town from the island during sunset. Breakfast was great and not rushed. Room was spacious, clean, and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Nothing fancy but a great place to stay for a night or weekend.

Every aspect was a delight, from the location so close to the Loire to the manager who booked us a table for dinner to the super clean comfortable room to the delicious breakfast personally served the next morning. We loved this stay!
