Outstanding gîte in the village of Combles. It's located next to the house where the owners live, very spacious and fully equipped with everything you need. Actually, we were suprised by the size and comfort provided. The contact with the owners was also very relaxed and friendly. We felt welcomed, since our kid was allowed to play with their kids and use some of the toys in the garden. Since we were only on a stopover I can't say anything about the location as a base for activities in the region, but it seemed nice and we would like to come back for a weekend or so.

The property was perfect. The outside garden and internally everything was new and we could recommend the property to anyone. We would give the property 6 stars if we could. The property owners were courteous, helpful and responded to our questions promptly. We will be back.

    You need a car to get around.

    You need a car to get around. We ate locally in Peronne and Albert. There are some lovely authentic french restaurants locally. The hosts will recommend to you where to go and what to see if you are struggling. They are also expert guides on the battlefields.

    What an absolute gem of a property.

    What an absolute gem of a property. For those visiting the old battlefields, this offers more than just an excellent location. The properties themselves are interesting and it is a privilege to be able stay here. The hosts could not have done any more to assist and are our stay comfortable. I certainly recommend it. I cannot wait to return soon.
