Breakfast was good, plenty of choice. Nice coffee too. Hotel was clean and tidy, staff were friendly, beer and wine in the bar was reasonably priced and varied. Parking onsite was a great help.

1) The size of the bed! A queen size bed (as claimed by the receptionist) usually cannot cope with my size measurements as I am a tall person, BUT (Surprise! Surprise!) this "Queen-size bed" indeed cope with my size and every night, I could rest with a lot of quality. 2) The excellent sheer size of the shower basin! Absolutely amazing! Better than some 5-star hotels that I have visited during my business trips! Also an excellent note to the shower system itself! Equipped with an "over-the-head waterfall" plus a typical shower handle with a lot of water pressure! What can one ask more for to start a new day of work!

If only there were 11 points .... We felt very comfortable here - right from the first moment. A quite wonderful ensemble of Norman Chaumieres with a unique host. Our Chaumiere was typically furnished for this region, very quiet and had a stunning view of the Seine. The huge king-size bed was of impressive quality and we slept excellently. One of the many highlights was breakfast the next morning, served by the host himself on the terrace, with a picturesque view of France's most beautiful river. Thank you very much.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this apartment in Pont-Audemer! The value for money was outstanding – only €85 for two nights – and we couldn’t have asked for more. The location is perfect: right in the heart of the charming old town, with a large supermarket just a five-minute walk away and plenty of small restaurants nearby. We even found the best pizza we have ever eaten at Pizzeria Castello, which we can recommend without hesitation! The apartment itself was spotless and beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful details. The bathroom and shower were modern and felt brand new, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. When we arrived, the table was already set for us, which was such a warm and welcoming touch. Parking was also easy – free street parking right outside, and there was always a spot available. The check-in process was simple and stress-free, and the hosts were fantastic: very responsive, kind, and attentive. They even prepared a folder full of recommendations for things to do in the area, which we found very helpful. We also loved how quiet and peaceful it was at night, making it easy to relax after exploring. From the windows, the view was lovely – no dull backyard, but a charming outlook that added to the cozy atmosphere. Staying here was also the perfect way to experience the authentic charm of Pont-Audemer, often called the "Venice of Normandy." The little canals, historic houses, and warm atmosphere of the town made the experience unforgettable. Overall, this apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pont-Audemer!
