The breakfast was delivered in a little insulated bag on the end of a pulley and our bell was rung to alert us. My daughter got to pull it up to the tree house and the pasteries were warm, coffee hot and milk for chocolate milk hot in thermoses. It was magical. Unfortunately the next day, we had a miss understanding and no breakfast had been ordered. So we were waiting patiently for the magic to happen again, to no avail. The host was able to put together an extra breakfast, but not as good as the previous day’s.

The hotel were very helpful. Helped with the bags, and then directed us to the ski hire just round the corner, where we were able to get seen right away the evening before we started skiing. Excellent breakfast!

Really great place. This is right at the bottom of a tracking route up to the "Puy de Sancy." Very close to the cosy village Mont-Dore. We had dinner twice and breakfast too, and it met/exceeded expectations. Big bonus for having a charging point for EV's right in front! I would come again.

    We have stayed in many hotels but this has to be the best ever. Outstanding and unique - we loved it and the host- was brilliant. The whole experience was wonderful. Such tasteful decor in an atmospheric, historic building of great character. And plentiful delicious food too! Highly recommended.
