This is a delightful Chambre d'hote with a very helpful and friendly host. Very welcoming and everything was as described. The house is set in a pretty garden and the environment is very peaceful. Breakfast was simple with home made produce. Perfect!

We had to return from Dieppe to retrieve our travel documents that we had inadvertently left in the room and stay another night to catch the ferry the next day and the folder was waiting for us in reception, very honest and efficient. We had an evening meal in their restaurant which was really good. The room was very quiet despite facing the street.

We had a fine and large room, and we admired that handicapped people were also welcome and that the hotel was designed accordingly. Quite frankly, we had never heard about Mehun-sur-Yèvre before, so we were amazed by its old town, its castle and in particular the fine park divided by the multiple branches of the river. An arboretum belonging to the hotel extends the Park. So both the hotel and the town were a very pleasant surprise.
