Really lovely hotel! Had all we were looking for after long cycle ride in Hautes Vosges. The room was spacious and nice and cool on arrival (middle of a heat wave), reception was welcoming - a plus was secure place to leave our bikes. The pool was wonderful and also appreciated was supply of dressing gowns to wear to the pool. Dinner and breakfast was excellent. And choice of wine (dinner) was exceptional and very reasonably priced. I hope to come again!

Exceptional attention to detail, little gestures that made the experience really enjoyable and allowed us to rest perfectly during a long and tiring journey. Individual approach to customers. The design could be described as outdated so not to everyone’s taste but it gives the place the whole charm. Spotlessly clean, smelled and felt good, cosy, comfortable. it was our best decision to stay here instead of the city. Excellent hotel. It is possible to visit the spa center for free, which we did for 2 days. The spa is not big but very good, there are several saunas, a steam room and a pool. There is also parking on the territory. We had a superior room, it looks better than in the photo. Also, I thank the staff for delivering dinner to the room when the restaurant was full. The location of the hotel is very good, it's quiet, the view of the mountains. Keep in mind that in winter you will need snow chains! And please check the road, because at first our navigator took the wrong road and we drove along the cobblestones (with dangerous descents). But there is a different nice road nearby and you will get to Colmar in 20 minutes. It is also obligatory to go to a wine degustation and drive along the wine road. Visit small towns. You'll like it. In Colmar I recommend to be no more than 1 day.

Great decoration, real countryside vibe. Bed is comfortable. Spa is pleasant. Beautiful garden. The spa is well equipped and decorated. However it is tiny and can contain only a few people at a time. We had to wait 20 minutes for the hot tub to finish their turn before we could enjoy😶‍🌫️. Think twice if you are booking on a common holiday because apparently this hotel is popular and can be fully booked.

We only stayed 3 nights in September.

We only stayed 3 nights in September. We did not walk around the village much because our activity was in St Marie aux Mines. It seemed that some amenities were open. It's pretty. Be aware that the bus timetable you might find on the internet is not accurate (there wasn't one at the bus stop by the church). We wanted to get a bus into Colmar - the 09:35 am bus went at about 08:30. Not another until lunchtime or later, so our trip did not take place. Seems very popular with walkers/hikers.

Arrive earlier than planned and the hotel was closed, so had an hour to wait in a bar down the road. There was somewhere secure and dry to store my bike. Very good evening meal at the hotel, and lovely breakfast before setting off up the hill on my bicycle

The staff is really friendly and helpful. Our room had forest and mountain scenes, providing a pleasant start to the day. Hotel has a restaurant downstairs. I suggest you try lamb meat and pasta.
