The hotel was not too big, so it's very quiet and they have a beautiful garden and terrace facing the lake and mountains. The rooms are quite big with all the equipment one needs. We tried their restaurant and the food was delicious.

The room was spacious enough to accommodate 2 adults and an extra bed (not a sofa bed). There was a microwave downstairs and an eating area where you could have your meals (bring your cutleries). There is a vending machine selling various coffees and snacks. The staff were helpful and polite. There is a big supermarket within walking distance of the hotel. There's the public bus going into town, within walking distance from the hotel (you'll need to change buses at some point in the journey). The journey is about 40 minutes.

Location is perfect in the old town. Hotel and Restaurant staff are delightful. We felt very welcome here. Quintessentially French old building but recently refurbished rooms that were quiet, contemporary and clean. It offers the best of both worlds plus the comfortable beds we have slept in! Don’t miss the amazing breakfast.

Everything! Love the location. The room is super clean and I liked the esthetics. It's a plus that the tv is a smart tv. Also the pool is very nice. There is a bakery if you don't want the entire breakfast.

    Menthon-Saint-Bernard is a very small town but it has a bar, restaurants, bakers and a well-stocked "local" supermarket. People very friendly! Where nearby Annecy is a beautiful, bustling city, Menthon is better for those who prefer the relative peace of the lake and mountains, yet is only a half hour drive into the city. There is also a bus service. Obviously very popular with cyclists, it is a VERY cycle-friendly place! There were lots of annoying roadworks at the time of our visit. We ate at the hotel and at the Chalet by the lake - nice, chilled pub-grub type food.
