Le Logis du Pradet is a gem! You could not find two more welcoming or hospitable hosts in Marie-Claude and Patrique, and seldom have I had such a magnificent breakfast or evening meal. Everything is either sourced locally or is homemade. Everything was 5*!

Our stay at Château Cauderoue was a real delight. The beautiful Renaissance castle has an authentic atmosphere, surrounded by peace and nature. Our room was spacious and high-ceilinged, with elegant cotton bed linen, a light blanket, and a comfortable 160 × 200 cm bed. The bathroom was large and spotless, and we even had an extra sitting room - everything felt well cared for and serene. We were warmly welcomed with a drink on arrival and given a clear explanation and small tour of the château. Carol, the owner (and talented ceramic artist), was incredibly kind and helpful. Despite her limited English and our limited French, we communicated easily and had genuinely pleasant conversations. Her ceramic works, displayed throughout the house, add a beautiful artistic touch - and some pieces are available for purchase. Breakfast was excellent, with eggs cooked to order and fresh brioche instead of croissants. The saltwater pool was still open, even in the late season, and pool towels were thoughtfully provided. We also appreciated the offer to use the refrigerator and the comfortable outdoor seating areas with lovely views and fresh air from the open windows. The Wi-Fi connection worked very well throughout our stay. Merci beaucoup, Carol, pour votre gentillesse, votre hospitalité et votre magnifique maison - un vrai bijou rempli d’art et de charme !

A beautiful stay in a stunning Chateau in the medieval town of Fources. We arrived on a Thursday evening which coincided with the start a night market that runs rough every Thursday in August. So a wonderful start to our stay here with a meal fron food trucks on the town green. The Chateau is very peaceful and our room was spacious with large vaulted ceilings and an adjoining room to relax in. The hosts were friendly and welcoming with grrat recommendations. Breakfast had excellent French bread and homemade jam. Fources had a decent Auberge to eat at on the town square and a grocery store that also sent the post. All in a couple of minutes walk. We had a hybrid car and it was one of the few places we found it easy to charge in the local car park. Highly recommend Lectoure market on Friday.

I was walking the Chemin St Jacques (started a couple days before) and had hurt my leg. I stayed in the hotel for three nights to try to get better. The people there were extremely sympathetic and helpful. Very kind. My room was nice and warm and very quiet, so I got good rest. I am definitely going to try the walk again sometime and I will go back to this hotel.

Everything!! The hotel is beautiful!! Such a charming boutique hotel. Situated in a central, quite, location but a ‘stones’ throw away to the hub of activity. The hotel has been tastefully restored retaining the old charm. Clean and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms are delightful the bed extremely comfortable and all the mod cons of a 5 star hotel. Beautiful, cosy seating areas to relax downstairs, a bar and a lovely outdoor terrace with plunge pool. My partner and I were cycle touring around France and were booked to stay here one night. We were greeted warmly and positively by Julien the owner on our arrival. Once panniers and luggage removed from the bikes he kindly helped us with taking them to the garage at the side of the property for safe storage. One of us is vegetarian and he recommended a wonderful restaurant opposite the castle which we could admire whilst dining outside and it was a perfect evening with delicious food. Breakfast was served in a delightful dining area with a delicious array of choices again no stone left unturned. On setting off on the bikes about 15 kms into the ride I had a mechanical problem where I lost my gears and the bike couldn’t be ridden. We were in a rural area. I telephoned the hotel where I spoke with Anne Juliens wife to ask if she could contact a taxi for me in French to get me back to a bike shop in town. I couldn’t believe it. She insisted Julien come and collect me in his van and take me to a bike shop in Nérac. Julien was there in no time and took me to a shop back in town where he interpreted. And the mechanics attended to my bike right away. He insisted on waiting until he knew they could fix it and that I would be back in the road refusing to take any money for his time and petrol. This act of kindness was so appreciated. I can’t thank him enough.
