We loved this house. Marie Kristine is very hospitable and helpful. The house is secured by a remote controlled gate. Tyere is ample parking within the house's private road which leads to the house. The house is equipped with everything we needed and more. A table soccer and ping pong were an addition for the kids. The TV has Netflix (input your own account) and YouTube. The jacuzzi is a treat! The view and tranquility of the place made our stay perfect. We stayed for 2 nights in August, and the climate during the night is cool (we at last took a break from the AC). The house is 11 minutes from the famous Rennes le Chateau; you can actually see it from the open bbq area in front of the house. Montbel is also a beautiful place to go for nice swim. It is a large oasis about 45 minutes drive from the house. I recommend Charmante maison and we rate it 5 Stars.

Really nice apartment with private pool and nicely located in a rural and medival village just south of Carcasonne. Kitchen/livingroom is a bit small but with the nice weather we were outside most of the time. Will definitely recommend for a nice and quiet place in the countryside.

Although we stayed only for one night, we wish we could stay longer. The building and rooms are amazing and wonderfully maintained with antique furniture. The breakfast was very good. Richard is a wonderful host and is very responsive to any needs.

    Chez Montiz is an incredible and beautiful “home”. The hosts, Cat and Steve are warmhearted and wonderful people. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and beautiful. I would say 5 star + quality. The breakfast delicious and the service of these 2 wonderful people amazing, they offer help and service where they can. It made my stay in Montazels magical.
