This really was a lovely place to stay. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. It was lovely and quiet and close to a train station, well stocked supermarket, Pizza etc. We had a day out in Paris which was so easy from the local train station. Plenty of biking trails near by. Close to the bouldering & climbing areas. The pool was closed but only because it was April. It would be even better when the pool is open. I would love to come back and stay in summer at some point. Stephane the host could not do enough for you, he showed us how to use everything in the house - which has never happened before, we have always had to figure it out. Great spot for a couple or small family. Safe and Secure, we were given a fob for the security gates so we could come and go when we pleased. Really really lovely place.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel de Londres in Fontainebleau. Everything was perfect—from the warm and friendly staff to the unbeatable location right across from the château. My room had breathtaking views of the château, was exceptionally quiet, and provided a truly relaxing atmosphere. Quite spacious too. The hotel’s charm and attention to detail made for a great experience.

Excellent venue, breakfast and service. Hosts where very obliging and where able to pick us up from train station as we had little knowledge of the local area. Room was above our expectations, wish we had a few more days to experience the Chateau and the local area. Hosts provided excellent service and advise of local village and made booking for us at local restaurant which had fabulous meals and wine.

Lovely room, we always like to have an opening window for fresh air. The shower was good, and the breakfast was excellent value and just what we needed to start the day. Excellent value for money and close to the town for restaurants.

    All the area is wonderful.

    All the area is wonderful. Lots of medieval places to visit, very nice restaurants and bars and of course, Fontainebleau's forest for great walks. The Chateau is a must. Wonderful peace of architecture impossible to miss. Sorque sur Loing is also a village to visit for sure. Take time to go there. Be aware of phone and internet connections. Due to the forest, there are areas where you loose contact. All the rest is great. Be aware of restaurant's hours. They're not the people that always want to have another client. You can be seated at 14h00 asking for a new thing and they'll just tell you - kitchen is closed!
