We had a lovely stay with Paul and Peggy. The rooms are comfortable and well presented. The garden and pool area is beautiful with stunning views over the valley. But the stand out aspect for us was how friendly and welcoming our hosts were and the FOOD!! Wow! Peggy is a terrific chef. So much of the lovely dishes we had were hand made by Peggy. A really wonderful place. We will be back!

Lovely old house and the owners gave us an exceptionally warm welcome. Breakfast was excellent especially the homemade yogurt. Loved the 2 rescue dogs and also the very majestic cat strutting back and forth. Would stay here again and we recommend it.

Beyond expectation. Myriam and Lionel really are the perfect hosts. Our two night stay was really first class. It was like staying with friends. Price was terrific and doesn't reflect the quality of the accommodation and welcome. We both left reluctantly with very good feelings about our two-day stay. Would thoroughly recommend La Flambée.

The location suited us perfectly. Quiet and rural. The host was lovely, we don’t speak much French and he no English but we got everything we needed. The closest village Le Dorat is about 3kms away and not a lot of food options so prepare in advance to cook at the studio or book a restaurant or go to Bellac. The La Petite Fontaine bar in Le Dorat was very welcoming. It has new English speaking owners who were renovating but will be doing meals soon.

Beautiful spacious gite and garden. Very nice hosts. Good parkingplace. We were lucky to have the gite to ourselves, but even if there would have been another couple in the other bedroom, we would have liked it as much as now. It is al so nicely done.Very comfortable place, good bed, nice bathroom with good shower. Everything you need and more. And last but not least: very good breakfast. Would love to stay again when in the neighborhood. Very good value for money!

Made very welcome by Janet. Loved the quirky building full of character. Internet was excellent which was needed for a Zoom meeting. Huge room and very comfortable beds. Breakfast good and plentiful.

I returned to Les Suites while my new house was having repairs. I have visited Bellac for years and this is the first guest house that meets my needs - safe, full of character, decent Wifi, cleaned with ecological products, comfy bed, and an approchable owner. Oh - and next door to my favourite bakery/diner!

    A delightful house on the edge of a quiet village, a well laid out garden with a swimming pool a variety of seating areas and a large patio where we enjoyed our evening meal on a warm sunny evening. Excellent hosts who ensured an enjoyable and comfortable stay.

    The perfect location and wonderful host, would highly recommend this chateau, we will definitely be booking our next stay at this chateau as it is probably the best stopover that we have experienced in 18 years of stopping over on our journey to friends in the south of France, see you next year Paul & Peggy 👍💯

    The hotel is very close to Bellac and right on the road. The bungalow rooms are located in the back of the main building where the restaurant is located. The bungalows are set around the garden area, so it is not noisy.
