Les Ganivelles is a charming house off the main road between Bordeaux and La Rochelle. With 2 bedrooms upstairs and a spacious open living room-kitchen downstairs it was perfect for us. The decor is relaxed but stylish and exudes tranquility. The most gorgeous Christmas cactus I have ever seen. The hosts Laurence and Didier were very helpful but gave us lots of privacy.

The hosts were very lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was continental and was lovely. The room was very clean The shower was very good. Bed was comfortable.

This place was an amazing find, a little gem and we can’t recommend it enough. The hosts Claire & Arnaud were amazing nothing was to much trouble, the bedroom was spacious as the bathroom, location was a little difficult to find but the village was delightful with a superb sailing port a short walk away to visit. The icing on the cake was the Table d Horte dinner, prepared by Claire to Michelin star standard , what a meal … this is a must, breakfast was good too. We wish the owners every success and will certainly return 5*

Drinks great, diner great and a fabulous breakfast It was late June lovely warm evening and breakfast setting just 35 minurtes from Blaye and a feeling of being remote. Fabulous
