Lovely clean village with a gorgeous view from our room balcony. We were in the area to see the Tour de France. Really lucky to find this hotel, at a really reasonable price too. Evening meal was great as was our breakfast, homemade strawberry jam was yummy. Perfect bedroom and private bathroom with shower, the bed was very comfortable. A friendly couple answered all of our queries during our stay. Great Monaco at the bar on our arrival after a really hot day watching the tour. Shame we just had one night. I wanted to book again for the following Saturday so we could watch the women's Tour de France but they were fully booked. Hope to stay again, maybe next year. Photo, Col de la Madeleine, the day after the tour passed.

The view and location was great. The staff was even more pleasant to deal with and very honest and trustworthy people. We enjoyed the breakfast as well (at the time was open from 7:30-9:30am) Truly appreciated the fact that they spoke a bit of English and communication was quick and easy even before we got to the hotel Something to be mindful of (for those not familiar with the culture) is that most places are closed in the afternoon between 11:30/noon to 2pm

Lovely family run hotel. Good buffet breakfast we also used the restaurant a few evenings while staying. Traditional french dishes served. Comfortable seating area with a small bar which has hot drinks. Heated ski boot storage & ski storage available too. A quick walk to; ski hire, ski pass kiosk & one of the chair lifts which links to the other ski runs. Could also walk though the park, along the river to main ski area, shops & restaurants. Good ski bus service in the village. There seems to be an outdoor market on Fridays too.

I was cycling in the local area, and needed a place to stay for the night, for which this hotel was ideally located. Very quiet and peaceful location just up from La Chambre, with a very friendly host. I actually arrived a bit earlier than expected but it was no problem, the room was lovely and comfortable, managed to dine for the night there and had a decent breakfast with plenty of local produce! Would happily come back here, there was also secure storage for the bike.

    It was a staging post for us, and as such served its purpose adequately. The reception was very friendly and breakfast was good - including the Hotel B & B staple of bacon and eggs! Very little by way of restauration nearby, so the microwave near reception was useful to heat a meal purchased from the nearby supermarket, and the outdoor tables and chairs on the grass by the hotel provided a pleasant environment to eat it. Plenty of parking available.

    .Love B&B hotels. Reassuringly all the same. Safe, warm, easy to find off the motorway, self catering available (microwave), coffee machine in lobby. Comfortable clean beds and hot showers. Funky decor. And quiet. Always quiet. Plus good value and free parking on site.
