Everything!!! Beautiful charm, french character, subtle modernisations yet retaining all of the original character of the original barn. The hosts were just perfect and welcoming and especially so as we were very unfortunately late. Madame Pineau-Valencienne was so lovely and welcomed us for Aperitifs and we were honoured to view her amazing and stunning home. The children loved the pool, ping pong, and the beautiful rooms, and the gite was lovely and cool when the weather was so hot, which we also loved.

Frederick was a very friendly welcoming host, despite our language barrier. Our room was scrupulously clean and very creatively decorated. My boys loved sleeping up in the jungle. Soap, towels and bottles of water along with tea and coffee where kindly provided. The breakfast was delicious and there was lots of choice from breads to fruit and even a delicious cake. We were delighted with our stay and the gardens and grounds are beautiful. A little gem of a find and would highly recommend to our family and friends.

The accommodation was fabulous and had every little detail covered. We found the whole site an absolute joy to stay in. The pool made it extra special, so beautifully built and the gardens and grounds were gorgeous. Sitting and watching the sun go down in the evening and come up again the next morning in such a lovely setting was the ‘icing on the cake’ The owners were approachable, extremely helpful and kind.

This was easily one of our favourite stays! We spent two nights in this beautifully renovated French farmhouse, surrounded by tranquil countryside and just a short walk from a serene lake. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the location is perfect—peaceful yet only 15 minutes from nearby towns with all amenities & great if visiting Puy du Fou. Breakfast delivered to the room each morning was a real treat, with a delicious selection to enjoy. It was an ideal base for visiting Puy du Fou, and we only wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!
