A quaint village with a nice market square.
A quaint village with a nice market square. The countryside around is ideal walking territory. The Ball leisure park just outside the village makes a good stop for children. Out of season so I was so was the only diner but still the very attentive staff provided meals at a time to suit me within their schedule. Room was a very good standard. shower excellent. Easy Parking right outside the hotel. Great breakfast. Great place for a stop before or after a channel crossing. Great location for travellers using Eurotunnel as far enough into France to avoid built up areas (Calais/Dunkirk). Rural location and short walking distance to small local bar. One of our group had limited mobility and the wet room was perfect. The couple running the hotel, were friendly and very accommodating. The food was very good - Steak cooked to perfection and the chips were some of the best! Chocolate mousse was divine. The breakfast was great, fresh bread a selection of cheeses and meats.
