Very special location with super nice and helpful hosts. Breakfast is awesome. We were on our trip from Germany to Spain and this was a great place to stop and rest next to La Rochelle.

Lovely well placed for all amenities, secure parking offered for a small fee, there is street parking. Dog friendly, good size rooms with air conditioning, no street noise, a very spacious breakfast area, fabulous selection for breakfast at a very good price, I would say that the best in France for price and selection! Ver nice staff, will stay there again.

We loved the historical setting of the hotel inside the park of the magnificent Corderie Royale and the hotel itself with its tasteful decor. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and the staff both in the hotel and in the restaurant were helpful and friendly.

    The location is ideal for exploring the area of La Rochelle, Rochefort, Ile de Re and Ile d'Oleron. The setting of the hotel overlooking the lakes was perfect and tranquil. Very kind and helpful staff. We did not use the restaurant for dinner, but the reviews in the visitors' book were very positive.

    Lovely welcome and staff is very friendly. Hotel had nice view over the lake and spacious room with good airco. Restaurant is superb where you sit outside (in good weather) and get incredible tastes and courses.
