Francos italian restaurant was good for breakfast and dinner - we had breakfast there on a couple of occasions and dinner once.. Al Amin Indian takeaway was excellent - delicious take away which we used several times. Defne Turkish restaurant - we ate there 4 times whilst at Aintree. Parking in Melling avenue was no trouble at all even though it was not on a private parking space. The train station was only a couple of minutes away on foot for trains from Liverpool to Southport - so very convenient even if you did not have a car. The facilities were superb, the beds were comfortable and the location at the bottom of a little cul-de-sac was perfect!
