Super tradition English hotel, nicely furnished and welcoming. Very clean with well presented cosy rooms. Staff were very helpful and kind, they provided us with a ground level room as requested due to my wife’s mobility issues. Alkham is a quiet little village with only the pub, church and park. Perfect to get away when you need A break. The food is to die for! The drinks options are amazing and the staff now how to look after you. Dover and Folkestone are between 10-15 minutes away and easy access to everything. The room was beautiful and so clean. The on site parking was plentiful and free. We were travelling the next day on the Eurotunnel and the location was perfect. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and the food was amazingly good. Breakfast the next morning was superb.
