I spent the most perfect peaceful 5 nights. Catherine has lovingly and meticulously restored this former croft. It is clean, comfortable (I slept so well) and has everything you need. Large windows throughout ensure lots of light and stunning views from every room. The TV didn't go on once; I just.sat and watched nature. Being surrounded by fields, cows, sheep and llamas was an added bonus!

This was our favourite place to have stayed at in Scotland. The view from our window was breath-taking, there was a lot to choose from when it came to breakfast and the staff was also very welcoming. A special thanks to Mutahara for a lovely chat and excellent service.

It''s an unforgettable experience that still lingers with me, even though I've been out of the hotel for several weeks: the sound of Loch Linnhe's waves all night through the open panoramic window. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring Castle Stalker, Glencoe Valley, the Three Sisters of Glencoe, and the forests with Fairy Bridge (be sure to check out this fabulous old bridge).

We arrived after sundown. Thank God instructions were given prior to our arrival and we stumble upon our units exactly per description. Good location. Love the common kitchen as we were there for our Christmas Dinner. Thanks for the good coffee. And the view .. wish we stayed longer. Its on a ground 0floor and bringing in the luggage was easy.

This is real 3 stars hotel, which is situated 2:/ miles from Fort William. The bus stop is 1/4 miles away. The restaurant does deserve only one star as it is Iceland (£3 meal served for £10-15). The view from the window is amazing. The staff is pleasant. I paid £80/2 days. Sometimes it cost £27 a day for both guests... If you see the price, which is compatible to local competitors - book it, and enjoy nice *** hotel with a shitl*ty gastro pub. I rate it as deserve to come back.

Good breakfast. Good selection. The rooms with buck beds for the kids were good. The location of the hotel was good with nice views over the loch and mountains. There is 22Kw electric charging points. Big carpark. And a Co-Op supermarket close by.

The location is simply stunning but the best thing about The Lodge on the Loch was definitely the staff - three cheers for Napoleon and Luis who made my stay so memorable. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food in the Sea Salt restaurant was fantastic and great value. All really fresh, beautifully cooked and served. There was something new to see each day as the team are working hard on the property, but I saw that as a benefit giving a sense of home from home. I loved it!

The Inn was delightful- they had a good range of beers which...

The Inn was delightful- they had a good range of beers which were terrific. There's a little brewery just down the road which had a terrific barleywine as well as a nice stout and brown ale. Travel by ferry was easy and FREE for foot travelers. Definitely recommend a day trip here even if you aren't staying on that side of the ferry.
