Cozy room. Reasonable price. If you are a fan of the film "Brief Encounter," you can feel the full spirit of it by staying at this hotel, hearing the train sounds near the station. (Maybe it could be a disadvantage for some of you, but it made my staying unforgettable :) Also, good restaurant.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was lovely and clean and the bedroom smelt really clean and fresh. Parking available right outside the cottage. Fantastic atmosphere inside the pub with games for adults and children to play. Locals really friendly and NOT a 'clicky' environment at all! We stayed on a bank holiday Monday when there was live music and karaoke involving the children with songs they would like. We would definitely stay again!

    This is not in the village of Arkholme, its 2.5 miles away in a very rural spot with views over the countryside. If you use the postcode for your sat nav it will direct you to the pub without a problem.

    Arkholme was a lovely area to visit.

    Arkholme was a lovely area to visit. It's surrounded by fields and hills for miles. Theres a few places you can eat and sit and have a drink. There were a lot motorcycles using the area as not far from Devils Bridge. And a lot of cyclists on the road too. It's a lovely place to stay would go back

    Spacious house with each bedroom having it's own bathroom.

    Spacious house with each bedroom having it's own bathroom. Well equipped & maintained. All on one level. Private location, which suited, but not particularly close to amenities. Transport needed - ample parking provided. Local cafe & pubs lovely for food, Carnforth 10 mins drive for more amenities.
