There are limited facilities in Bathford and it really is very basic. We drove around for about an hour on our first night(thursday) looking for somewhere to eat but no availability despite driving for several miles. We stay at this property for 2 nights and drove to Bath and Bradford-on-Avon from here. It was very comfortable stay. The house was very clean and had ample of space to move around. A lovely village with a fabulous community run village shop.
A lovely village with a fabulous community run village shop. The croissants were delicious. There is a good bus service into Bath so we didn't have to take the car and pay for parking which if you could find any spaces they are expensive in Bath. The village is quiet and we found the local residents very friendly. We would have liked to explore the area more but time was against us.
