Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff. I stayed there during Storm Darragh which resulted in the power being down at the hotel for nearly 12 hours. Candles and battery operated lamps together with extra bedding were provided. Nothing was too much trouble.

We had a lovely Easter stay at The Old Granary. The cottage is very well laid out and had a lovely cottage feel to it as well as having modern touches. Martyn and Angela are very friendly and made us feel very welcome. I loved that there were items in the cottage that you would normally have to bring yourself, milk, tea, coffee, biscuits, tea towels, dishwasher tablets plus some Easter treats! I would recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Somerset. It was in a good location for exploring Dorset and Somerset. The garden was very pretty, and well loved by the owners.

The property was a lot bigger than I expected there was plenty of space in all the rooms the host was very friendly and chatty the venue over the country side was lovely even the donkeys sead hello considering it was a working farm it was very peaceful definitely recommend.

Great place, Beaminster is idyllic. Cosy little cottage that the kids absolutely loved. Even a few games and puzzles to entertain us. Close to Jurassic coast for fossil hunting and nice national trust half an hour north.

Charlie and Lucy are very kind and thoughtful souls, making sure that your stay is so memorable and pleasant that you want to return. They even took time to show my grandchildren all their animals.     A step back in time!

    A step back in time! Small historic town, traditional butcher, baker and greengrocer, independent shops. Very friendly helpful locals. I can recommend The New Inn for great evening meals at reasonable prices. Be prepared to travel some very narrow windy lanes in this area though!

    Lovely old house in lovely setting, good heated pool, animals to see, walk intp Beaminster. Host gave us guided tour of the estate which was interesting. Quirky decorations and furnishing, aga for cooking. Comfy beds. Handy for Lyme, Seaton, fossil hunting etc.

    Chapel View cottage had everything we needed for our stay in Beaminster as we were attending a wedding at Mapperton Gardens. A cosy homely cottage, perfect for our needs very well equipped and well kept. The welcome basket and milk on arrival was very welcome.
