We came across The Morecambe Hotel by chance. And it is wonderful. At first glance, it is a simple building, but inside it is so cozy, harmonious and beautiful - both the restaurant and the rooms. This place definitely had an incredibly talented Designer who felt colors and textures at the highest level. Textiles, wood, furniture, expensive high-quality plumbing... Perfect, harmonious, everything in moderation. Selected paintings and ornaments. You won't feel this in words until you try it yourself. Very clean all, restaurant and room. Comfortable beds with high-quality natural textiles, a calm, quiet street, I finally really got a good night's sleep. An open courtyard with access only from the restaurant with tables and a playground is just a luxury, and parents can relax and children have a place to have fun. The Chef. Really delicious dishes and very refined presentation. The breakfast, of course, simply won us over, it was a surprise for us. Breakfast is included in the room rate and each dish is prepared by the chef to the choice of each guest, this is in addition to the buffet style. And of course, this place is made by hardworking people - honestly, I have never met so much care, kindness, peace, openness and simple humanity as here. This place deserves to be marked with all the awards many, many more times. Prosperity to you all and your guests! Thank you all very much for made my break amazing and come back me to life! Thank you all in this charming hotel.

Cozy room. Reasonable price. If you are a fan of the film "Brief Encounter," you can feel the full spirit of it by staying at this hotel, hearing the train sounds near the station. (Maybe it could be a disadvantage for some of you, but it made my staying unforgettable :) Also, good restaurant.

Just excellent. A warm welcome, the restaurant is cosy and warm. The food absolutely great and very fair priced. Staff is friendly and pro-active. The room is just like homecoming! It really is a very pleasant surprise. Never experienced such an amazing value for money. All I needed after a long long drive. Thank you!

    I have found space and a little more calm at Bolton Le Sands...

    I have found space and a little more calm at Bolton Le Sands as the Morecambe Bay Estuary is a short walk away from the Hotel.You can walk also the other way that leads to the Canal where on this particular visit I came across a magnicent very impreesive Ultra modern Canal boat moored up. I made a quick sketch of some of it and took a photo. A quick chat with the owner made my very brief stay worthwhile. Two evironments close by: The Canal & Morecambe Bay.

    Lovely place and the canal at back of pub.

    Lovely place and the canal at back of pub. Another pub over the can at back of pub that I would try as well next visit. There is lovely walk over on the other side of the canal. Plus very dog friendly.

    Bolton le sands is a quiet village, with a lovely beach for dog walking and stunning walks along the canal. It is the Door way to the lakes so not far to access any of the Lake District attractions and beauty.

    The apartment was right in the village It was quiet, very clean and nicely furnished. All the appliances worked and were of good quality. And we were able to adjust the heating. We had a lovely meal at The Royal Hotel just a 5 min walk away and were able to buy groceries from the Coop also just a 5 min walk away.

    The hotel has a good bar/restaurant (food was very good)- and a great beer garden- close to the canal, though below it. Easy to walk along the canal for a peaceful walk including great views across the bay. Comfortable bed and good pillows. Lots of plugs/usb points.
