A very comfortable stay in a clean and spacious room in the sweetest little town. Staff were all lovely and helpful. Being over the pub, there was the sound of a bit of chatter as the weather was lovely and people were outside, but it didn't disturb us at all, and settled reasonably early. An excellent continental breakfast. Highly recommended.

    Borgue is rural so definitely need bikes or car to get...

    Borgue is rural so definitely need bikes or car to get around. However if you want to stay in the same place it’s perfect for walking, bird watching and just chilling out in the garden. Everyone is very friendly and the local borgue hotel is great for a refreshing drink and bar meal and they also welcome dogs in the bar. A very memorable hamlet inbetween kirkudbright and gatehouse of fleet.
