Quirky little cottage, my children loved it, was cosy with the log burner, very friendly pub round the corner and a park in the village for the kids, the little shop was great for anything you may have forgot. Tea, coffee, bread and milk with a little choccy treat were left for us which made our stay perfect. Would definitely recommend. Thankyou

Excellent food, lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff. I stayed there during Storm Darragh which resulted in the power being down at the hotel for nearly 12 hours. Candles and battery operated lamps together with extra bedding were provided. Nothing was too much trouble.

It was lovely and cosy and the view/location was wonderful lots of walks in the area. Also the brownies and jam left for us on arrival was a lovely touch. The enclosed area for the dogs was perfect too so we could sit and relax without worry of them getting out or up to mischief. It was also very quite in the evenings and night time making it very easy to relax and get away from life for a weekend.

A very beautiful place, definitely worth visiting and staying. The rooms are awesome and a class of it’s own, as the hosts are! Unfortunately, we found this beautiful place at the end of our tour and could not stay any longer. The hosts spoil you with everything you need! The environment and the region itself are very beautifull with many options to spend the day in Dorset with all its beauty. Don’t miss the Pub Winyard’s Gap for the diner or just for a drink!
