Very calm and peaceful country side, with friendly people a lot of nearby places to walk around and visit (lakes, farms, stables and a public park). Hunters Meet itself has a lot of facilities and very friendly staff, more than I'm used to when going a little remote from the cities.

The general atmosphere was relaxed, staff professional and eficent, room clean.The leisure facilities were excellent and well maintained. We enjoyed a relaxing two day break. Sorry it wasn't longer. Breakfast was very good 👍

The helpful owner explained to us on the phone quite late in the evening that the reception was open 24/7 and there were still rooms available, (although many passengers were delayed at Stansted due to a train accident on the route from London), after which she welcomed us very kindly at 11.30 pm, showed us the room, wrote the invoice and gave us all the information we needed. Breakfast served was a freshly prepared very good English Breakfast with good coffee.
