It was a pleasure to step out of the door and onto the riverbank, and then to take a tranquil walk to explore the hamlet of Burrowbridge. The main purpose of our trip was to make daily visits to an elderly relative near Ilminster. We chose the very quiet twin bedded room at the back of the house - warm with deep carpet, views over river from both windows, attractive decoration and well furnished. Large en-suite with good shower. Property is easy to find. Easy parking. Nice garden. We enjoyed the company of the hens and gentle dog.
