Hotel not to far from Inverurie’s railway station. The local area is steeped in history. Note: The :Maiden Stone” is close by. Monymusk Church, which is good to visit, is one of the oldest in Scotland. Monymusk is approximately 6 miles away. Old Meldrum Distillery is well worth visiting. the hotel was beautifully furnished and very comfortable with a lovely roaring fire in the lounge.It was in a very isolated position with no facilities near so the hotel was the only choice for dining. The hotel's decoration and environment were fantastic, and the treatment from the staff, specially Richard, was amazing, professional and friendly! Everyone welcomed us very well, and made it extremely comfortable to be with our dog there, and made him feel very welcomed too! There are a couple of nice walks around the hotel. The staff were amazing and our room was really comfortable and Immaculately clean. The only little downside was the food was a little on the expensive side however it was excellent quality and the service was brilliant.
