I received a warm welcome on arrival and was shown the accommodation which was nicely decorated and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bed linen. A very good shower in the bathroom. Everything was provided that you could possibly need (and in my case won’t need such as a hairdryer!). There were some nice finishing touches such as a small vase of fresh flowers on the bedside drawers. As my stay was over Easter it was nice to find a note wishing me a Happy Easter with a packet of mini eggs. The farm was easily accessible and the entrance was well lit when arriving back in the dark. I found my stay very peaceful and slept very well. The location is ideal for visiting a number of places such as Bath, Wells and Glastonbury. I would certainly recommend staying there and will book again whenever I next visit the area.

Staff were friendly, room was neat and in order. Tea and coffee and toiletries provided. I was hoping for the four poster bed and we got it! Massive room that also has a couch, etc. ample parking and extremely comfortable bed. Great price for one night, would have stayed another night if we could have. We nicknamed it 'the princess room' and enjoyed the suite for what it is.

The cottage is beautifully located, comfortably furnished and very cozy. We loved the jacuzzi. The owner is very friendly. Our children loved the goats in the field just outside the cottage. Beautiful walks to the woodland and small waterfall just along the lane. Short drive to Bath - we used the Park & Ride. Lovely place, would love to come back.

The weekend that we spent at Rook Lane House yielded one delightful surprise after another. Topping them all was the welcome received from a host with a fabulous feel for all that you could want to make a stay special and memorable. Location a little tucked away but beautiful area. Fabulous modern room with lots of character added. Loved the tuck box in the room and doggy bowl and towels outside door. Lovely thoughtful touches… magazines available too. Will avail myself of these when I’m able to come back…shame it was a flying visit this time. Staff lovely and breakfast was excellent. Great parking included.
