74 years ago I returned to the UK on the Empire Orwell, and to live in Hamilton Road in Lincoln. In my search I could only pick the Orwell Hotel. The hotel lived up to my expectations, well used but clean and tidy. The staff were great providing a standard of service seldom seen in todays world. my visit would have been perfect had not the restaurant been closed

We were extremely happy about our stay. Jayne the host is very lovely and caring. She made sure we had everything we needed and even took personalised breakfast orders. The room was fantastic - everything one could need could be found there and then you’d find the little extra thing you didn’t even know you needed but was a pleasant surprise (such as instant hot chocolate). Also, everything was very clean and modern. The breakfast was great, there was plenty to choose from. Parking is right in front of the house and the view outside is beautiful.
