A very nice hotel with a great staff. When we arrived I told my name and was given a package with our key, WiFi password and breakfast information immediately, everything was ready. The staff helped us bring our bicycles to a storage room where they were locked overnight. Dinner was excellent! The wait staff were very nice. The photographs in the bar area are worth a visit alone.

We were upgraded on arrival, as the restaurant was almost up and running following their recent re-opening. However, we didn't mind as we found some rather good eateries in the area. The view from our room was awesome. The room was sooo comfortable, clean, cosy, safe, and fresh. The staff were so kind and accommodating, and there is even a little lift to go up in - handy for us! Totally recommend this hotel, 100%. We will definitely stay there again if we're down that way. This is definitely a Prince Hotel (to find the Handsome Prince, sometimes you have to kiss a lot of frogs...). Nothing wrong with the room, the bathroom, or the facilities.

The only issue we had was the flooring on the promenade which was most unsuitable for pushing walking aids on wheels and wheelchairs - too cobbly. So Sad to see empty shops on pier and the roadworks for pedestrianisation were terrible so hope they get that work done very soon. We went to the theatres - there were many broad-beamed (!) people there like ourselves and the seats were tight, uncomfortable and no knee room but probably something that cannot be changed - pity

Love being by the sea, ideal for the theatre and plenty of restaurants, lovely fish and chip restaurant, excellent food. Plenty to see and do. Railway station in centre of town, easy to get to and from Eastbourne. Only spent a night here for the Devonshire Park Theatre, lovely building and architecture, worth a visit. Will certainly come back and spend longer here.

Nice town, excellent cafes and pubs. Interesting tour bus, lots of nice drop of points to see, specially beachy head and seven sisters. Not too pricey either and the ticket lasts for 24 hours. Eastbourne has a lovely long promenade and beaches with a huge diversity of things to see for all age groups. The town centre is different every time I visit. The are lots of shops. You have a choice of theatres so check what's on. The Towner Art Gallery has a café. There is the Sovereign Harbour and again lots of places to eat and shop.
