The Fern family are just adorable and so kind and thoughtful. They helped us with Where to go and how. They just wanted to share their kitchen, their food, their time. We travel a lot, however we have rarely met such accommodating people.

Wonderful rural location just off the A12 and a 10 minute walk into Dedham village, plenty of free parking, friendly staff, beautifully decorated and furnished buildings, facilities set over three sites within two or three minutes drive of each other but staff will ferry you backwards and forwards, room and breakfast excellent value and high-end restaurant serves delicious food.

The hotel is quite close to the city and offers everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and staff is extremely friendly. We really felt welcome. Special thats to Julie, who was a wonderful and attentive host, providing lots of extra information on what to visit in the city and where to go for dinner. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

    The people of Great Bromley were willing to help out, are friendly and without their trouble I wouldn't have located the property. Top marks to Great Bromley and the people in the pub. I am not part of a young couple but an elderly couple. I didn't eat. In the dark nothing is easy anywhere.
