We had a perfect stay here. Lovely hosts, beautiful room, large and comfy bed, excellent shower, copious breakfast. Rooms have been renovated up to modern standards and tastefully decorated. The farm is located in a green and quiet area, but ideal for visiting the surrounding sights.

Strictly speaking Helston itself didn't feature hugely in our trip. St Keverne is a small place with two pubs and a shop, a good stopover for walkers, divers, and people who want a quiet place to stay. I was diving at Porthkerris which is only 10mins drive away but there are many small coves to explore within a few miles.

Helston is lovely, it's how I expect a village to be.

Helston is lovely, it's how I expect a village to be. There are some lovely shops. I had a cream tea in Bettys cafe, I definitely recommend that (they open at 9am). It's a scenic location, and not far from various tourist attractions, we visited Lizard Point, Land's End, Penzance, and St Ives all from there. I do recommend going in a small car, we were in a Honda Civic, which was a good size for the small roads.

we have travelled to Helston for over 30 years as we have Family in the area i would reccomend Helston for their stay as it is well served with a bus service to all areas of other local towns There are plenty of places to eat for old and young. and for every budget. get day savers on the bus it works out cheaper. There is parking locally for about £2.00 24 hours but renew it @ 8am daily.

Helston is an elegant town in its centre, and full of impressive architecture reflecting its wealthy mining and seafaring history. The cobbled streets, granite flag pavements and open road drains are an important historical feature. The people we met in St Michael's parish church were very welcoming and interesting.

Only had one day, but enjoyed walking round the town, had a nice lunch at Boo Koos and afternoon tea at Poldhu Beach Cafe. The walk from Helston around Looe Poole looks lovely, but unfortunately I ran out of time, so will be coming back soon I hope.

The house is small and compact but perfect for the solo traveller. The beds and the rest of the furniture are comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and clean, and the television is easy to use. The house is situated on a working farm in a very quiet, rural area, but main roads are easily accessible and the town of Helston with two large supermarkets is within easy reach. The let is very good value for money and I would definitely stay there again.

We probably never had a better breakfast in an b&b or hotel ever. The room was not too big but adequate for a 3 day visit, the bathroom had a perfect shower. The location was ideally located to visit the several interesting locations in Cornwall. We had a very very pleasant stay, enjoyed the restaurants that were recommended and can only recommend this b&b to future Cornwall-visitors. Thank you very much, Vicki, for having us.
