A wonderful pub. The rooms are in a neighboring building and parking is plentiful. The reception was extremely friendly, the breakfast is perfect. You can also have dinner in the pub, which we recommend.

We had a very nice room, large bathroom, with a bath as well as a shower. The bed was comfy, and a really nice touch was some fresh fruit. The staff were very friendly as well. We ate at the restaurant and the food was good. There are a few outside areas to sit and have a drink which was nice as we arrived on a hot day.

    Could not get the tv to work though it was not a major issue...

    Could not get the tv to work though it was not a major issue but instructions would have been useful. Getting the gate to open was a bit difficult - too strong a catch for me but my husband managed it reasonably well, The room was well maintained & kitted out though not a lot of space to put cases with only a short hanging space. Tea & coffee were provided which was not mentioned on the web site, so we had taken our own which of course was not necessary. Did not see the owners other than when we arrived at their house as I had not received the email they had sent with directions in time. It would have been nice to have had a little contact with them at least once during our 4 night stay.
