Loved our stay at the Saint! Location was great, parking very close and walking distance to everything. Staff were lovely. The rooms were spacious, clean, modern with everything we needed. Went to Anstruther for a short break and found this fantastic hotel located in the town centre with lots of local amenities on the doorstep, was able to park outside easily and check in was fast & friendly. The room itself was absolutely stunning with fresh decor following the recent refurbishment, great TV & WiFi, couldn't ask for anything better! Popped into the bar for a couple drinks and received a warm & friendly welcome from the staff and locals alike. If you are planning a trip to Anstruther then look no further and make the harbour inn your choice of destination, highly recommended.

Very quiet and well kept village in the East Neuk of Fife.

Very quiet and well kept village in the East Neuk of Fife. Ideal for travelling north to St. Andrews or south to the coastal villages of Crail, Elie, Largo and Anstruther. The village itself is very quaint with a mixture of old cottages and houses as well as modern small estates. The Church bell in the clock tower rings on the hour. There are no shops in the village but it is only a 4 min drive to Crail where there is a Coop. There is a lovely Inn which serves food, drinks and is dog friendly. There is an easy walk around and through the village as well as fields for dog walkers and, if energetic, a road leading to the beach area where there is a pop up food stall. Car parking is available at the beach if the walk is too far.

Easy to visit nearby villages for eating out. We went to the Ship Inn at Elie for dinner one night. We also went along the road to Morton of Pitmilly for one of their pop up burger and beers nights. The coastal walks are really interesting with some a bit more difficult than others. And St Andrews is a short drive.

Kingsbarns is a lovely village and very close to the beach (which has good facilities, i.e. car park, toilet, take away shack). I can't comment on the pub as we didn't use it. Seems a peaceful village.

Accommodation was in a great quiet location with only a short walk to the beach for the Fife Coastal path. Everyone we met in the village was very friendly. Would have eaten in the local pub but their restaurant wasn't open. Had lovely smoked fish and chips in The Wee Chippy, Anstruther which was sadly overlooked by those queuing for the more popular establishment. Can also recommend tea and scones in Gorgeous Cafe, St Andrews. Raspberry, blueberry and white chocolate with clotted cream - heaven.

Kingsbarns is a very pretty village surrounded by stunning countryside. Lovely beach and beautiful country walks on your doorstep. Also very easy access to St Andrews and other Fife villages. Cambo House is lovely and does great lunches. They specialise in vegan and vegetarian food. We had lunch, coffee and cake and it was all delicious. Definitely worth a visit.

This was a rental property and the second time we have stayed there. Lovely, quiet location just a few miles from St Andrews. Great location for the coastal Fife area. Lovely beach nearby. For those who play, Kingsbarn golfclub is highly rated. Kingsbarns distellery is a great place to visit as is Cambo estate.
