It exceeded my expectations for the budget price that we had to pay. I was blown away with what we had for the cost of our stay. £40 for two people and there was a sauna, a gym, a steam room. Although budget it's 100% worth and value for money, but remember it is a budget. Stay bear that in mind the holiday is what you make it. We met some wonderful people. Thank you for this day. I would definitely go back. The atmosphere was great

The property was very clean, perfect location for anyone visiting Alton towers, very comfy beds, lovely village, quiet, it had all of the appliances and supplies we needed for travelling with our baby, modern but also a nice homey cottage atmosphere. Would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends.

the host abbey was so friendly and helpful, the house was absolutely gorgeous! we were made feel so comfortable and I would absolutely stay here again the next time we go on a trip to Alton towers. we left something behind and abbey has been more than accommodating trying to organise to get it back to us.

Accommodating host, understanding of the weather as it was raining all day at alton towers so they left the heating on etc. Very nice cozy clean property. They even had some fresh milk tea coffee and sugar. Really good!

    Kingsley is a small village with a shop but is ideally placed for an overnight stay near to the Churnett Valley steam train station. It has a beautiful church and we joined the locals for the Sunday morning service. We were made really welcome and it was like going back in time to meet such lovely people.
