I was brought up near Kingston, so a bit bias. Acted as tour guide to relatives from the US, and they were blown away by the history of the town and the walk along side the river, which they pronounced correctly. Suggest visiting Kingston Museum first, open on certain days of week. My Favourite place there is the Office of Sir Edward Davey, Leader of the Liberal Democrats Party. we ate at Double Tree By Hilton. Having two bedrooms was great with our toddler as she could sleep separately to us. The flat had all the amenities you need for a long term stay and the host was super helpful and check in was easy and uncomplicated. Oh and location is excellent, 10 minutes walk by the beautiful riverside to Kingston town centre. 18 minute walk to Surbiton station which had fast trains that take you to Waterloo in 10 minutes.Guest review bysolmiGermany
