It's a small hotel near to the lake/loch Leven that from outside looks old but inside is excellent! The personnel polite and helpful, everywhere in the hotel was clean and tidy, regardless thaw was a lot of people in the room was quiet and peaceful. A wonderful experience! Definitely, next time in Scotland, I'll be there, again.

The hotel has been beautifully decorated with understated elegance. It's warm & cosy. Room was large with a good-sized shower room, the bed was comfortable & on a wintery night lovely & warm. Staff were friendly, professional & very efficient. Had dinner, which was delicious, beautifully presented & very reasonably priced. Breakfast again was freshly cooked & tasty. Cant fault anything. Definitely be back, would recommend.

Been going to Kinross for a lot of years and slowly seen it decline. It’s still an ideal location for touring the surrounding area which is lovely to visit. You just have to find the right accommodation.

This is a very attractive small town beside the beautiful Loch Leven and close to many lovely local areas. It has a range of basic amenities and a couple of good places to eat. It is easy to reach from Edinburgh

As always the people are very pleasant, the wee coffee...

As always the people are very pleasant, the wee coffee shops which are all lovely, nice varied menus and homemade cakes! The butcher shop is a must the choices in this shop are amazing! Lots of nice wee independent shops too selling an array of something different!

There is not much to do in Kinross.

There is not much to do in Kinross. We went to the lake and wanted to visit the castle but it was closed due to a private event. Some shops are closed or are closing in the town. The small jetty looks abandoned and run down. It might have been nice to walk or cycle around the loch. However, for us 1 day was sufficient time. We really liked the small cafe Reminisce. Lovely team.

Well situated for overnight stay en route to Edinburgh. Lovely big room with plenty wardrobe space. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and promptly served. Excellent choices for breakfast just what was needed hot selection cold selection pastries and cereals. J would highly recommend this hotel. Never had a chance to go in to Main Street but will visit again

It's a small town but it has everything.

It's a small town but it has everything. Loch Leven is a gem and the surrounding countryside very beautiful. The drives to Perth and Scone Palace as well as to Stirling are gorgeous. It's within half and hour of Edinborough and 45 minutes of Glasgow. We ate at our hotel, the Kirklands which has a great restaurant so can't say anything about the other places.

The hotel is central to all shops and close by to Loch Leven. The room was very clean, walk in shower, plenty of cupboard and drawer space. The bed was very comfortable with a couple of pillows & dress cushions which was great for watching a bit of Tv. Smart Tv and directly opposite the end pod the bed so no sore neck! We were pre warned that the hotel is undergoing renovations and therefore tradesmen would be working during the day. This wasn’t a problem and I’m sure once the works are completed that the hotel will look great!

Stayed here to be convenient to boat to Lochleven Castle. Small hotel, only 8 rooms. Bearing this in mind, I thought the variety of food at breakfast was excellent. Also delicious. We also had dinner there, meal was very good. Having said that, we went for a walk afterwards and couldn't find any other open restaurants in the area. Room was comfortable, large bathroom with shower and bath. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Loved the Steven Brown artwork.
