Friendly welcome we were then taken to our room and we were both well pleased with it,had everything to hand,we then returned downstairs had a drink at the bar then ordered a meal .Food was great and decided to stay with a couple more drinks.After a comfortable night went down and enjoyed the full cooked breakfast,please thank your staff . Beautiful decorated rooms that had everything you needed and more. Beds very comfortable and the staff were exceptional, very helpful and friendly. The building has been tastefully renovated to a high standard while retaining the original features, open fire and stonework in the dinning area.

We had to leave early after our last night and weren't able to make the breakfast sitting. They offered to make us a bacon sandwich and coffee to go. So nice of them, and tasted so good. So appreciated the extra effort.

Staff were friendly and helpful, accommodating an early check in for one of our group and a late arrival for another. Rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed, food in the restaurant was very nice and location was central to all we needed. Would definitely recommend the Castle Inn if you are visiting Usk.
