We were charmed by Mansewood Country House from the moment we arrived. The house is superb. Everything is cozy, warm, and peaceful. James is delightful and took great care of us throughout our stay. The host, the atmosphere, the surrounding nature, the art. Everything there made a short weekend break an extremely rich experience. Shammi is a great host, he loves the space and takes care of it with passion. The rooms were super clean and spacious, the bed was a super king with new mattress with high quality pillows. The room had everything we needed. The bathroom had a lovely bath tub. We loved having a soft classic music when we entered out room. Everything is curated in extreme detail. Highly recommended.

I like how the owners keep up the old style of the hotel. This gives the hotel a very special atmosphere. Impressive to see how the owners involve themselves to all jobs in the hotel, from reception to serving in the restaurant and for breakfast. The restaurant serves attractively composed and prepared/seasoned dishes. This is why I even do detours on my route to stay at Killin Hotel.

We had a great stay at the Camping pods, it was warm inside when we arrived on a rainy cold evening, which we appreciated a lot. The pod is very cozy and neat, the space is used very smartly for everything you might need. We used the kitchen to make supper and breakfast, all very convenient. It is also very quiet at night, we slept well.

Comfortable clean cabin in excellent location with everything you require for a nice relaxing holiday Wonderful views of the river from the patio down towards the Falls of Dochart. Nice friendly hosts close by if you need anything. Will definitely return

Lochearnhead itself is a small, quiet place.

Lochearnhead itself is a small, quiet place. The water sports and camping lodges do increase the population during the seasons. The scenery is stunning when the fickle Scottish weather behaves itself. But go prepared for all seasons.

It was a lovely hotel which was in A1 condition - very fresh...

It was a lovely hotel which was in A1 condition - very fresh, clean and comfortable. I thought the evening meal was a touch pricey but was good. Very conveniently located and within easy reach of Rob Roy’s grave at Balquhidder.

A great property as a base to visit the area to fish, play...

A great property as a base to visit the area to fish, play golf and visit some wonderful castles and towns/cities. The property was spacious and well appointed with off road parking and a private garden to fish from. It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing time and would certainly recommend to others!

Finding the hotel and parking was easy.

Finding the hotel and parking was easy. The room was comfortable and it was serviced every day, the bed made and bottled water, biscuits, tea. coffee provided. Plenty of options for breakfast and the cooked options were very well-presented. We ate in the hotel restaurant every evening and the food is very good.

Very scenic.

Very scenic. Easy to drive to St Fillans, Callender, Killin (a must to see the Falls of Dochart), Kenmore, Crieff, Aberfeldy. Also close to Balquhidder, where lies the grave of Rob Roy in a lovely little churchyard, with a scenic walk along by a little river. Close to Loch Voil. Also, not too long a drive to Loch Lomond. Opportunities for water sports at both Loch Earn and Loch Tay, plus bike / walking trails, and walks along the south sides of both lochs. Lovely meals at Clachan Cottage hotel, plus nearby Killin.

Lochearnhead is an amazing place. Absolutely spotless. Plenty of sports to do . My husband does the fishing & it’s the best loch out by far . Lochearnhead Hotel is best place to stay or just to visit for dinner

The But n Ben was luxurious and had plenty of room. We had access to a ‘living room’ where you can chill out, watch tv etc which is open to other guests. Our room however was spacious, had a sofa and chairs and table, so it is best described as a suite. The hotel itself makes you instantly relax. This is down to the staff and the warmth of the lounge and bar area, where you can sit, read, have a cuppa or something stronger.

We enjoyed our stay in the Modern Nordic Lodge in Lochearnhead very much and every time after a day trip we were pleased to return to our beautiful accomodation. LodgeFour is so lovingly furnished and everything is there that the guests feel comfortable. The surroundings of the lodge are so peaceful and quiet and we loved watching the birds and rabbits outside. Many thanks, Tanja und Stefan

As always an exceptional stay at Lochearnhead hotel. Lovely setting, comfortable, food is delicious and the people there are lovely and welcoming. We always make it a place to come back too on our way through Scotland.

Friendly & welcoming atmosphere. Lovely food in the hotel bar & a lovely welcoming real fire. Lovely room with a view of the Loch. This is the second time to the Clachan Cottage & we will definitely be back.
