Everything was perfect. Comfy sofa, full kitchen with everything we needed, comfy bed, nice bedding, good shower, nice towels and toiletries.... and the location was everthing we wanted. Lots of wonderful walks right from the door. Lovely touches like a welcome basket complete with eggs and a voucher for drinks at the pub . Cannot fault it and will be back!!

This is an ancient pub in the middle of nowhere (magnificant location for hikers) but within a drive of several small towns. The staff could not have been friendlier, and the food (some from the owner's farm) was superb. We stayed over a second night, and would have stayed a third had it been available. It felt like home, with someone else doing the cooking!

Quiet small village with beautiful scenery, plenty of walking opportunities. Straight from cottage. An excellent local bakery in next village and pubs with food . Easy driving BUT not fast beware sheep and lambs
